How to link Aadhaar with mobile phone number at home

https://techinfos.in/2018/01/03/how-to-link-aadhaar-with-mobile-phone-number-at-home/

As the government continues its drive to re-verify the SIM cards using Aadhaar number, the process became a little easier on Tuesday. Now telecom subscribers can call a single number to verify all their mobile numbers with Aadhaar, irrespective of network. This brings in a sigh of relief for consumers across the country, who only had the option to visit offline stores run by their operators to link the two till now. Now, they can use the IVR service from their homes instead, cutting out the hassle involved in going to physical outlets.

How to link Aadhaar with mobile phone number at Home

If you want to re-verify your phone number by linking it to Aadhaar, the process is so simple. You just need to keep your Aadhaar number and mobile number which was used at the time of issuing Aadhar Card because it receive an OTP for confirming at Only. Whether you are on Telenor,Airtel, Idea, Jio, and Vodafone or any other operator, you simply need to call the toll-free number 14546 from the phone number. Follow these steps, as directed by the IVR, to complete the re-verification process.

When you call 14546, you will be asked to select whether you are an Indian national or an NRI by selecting the respective option
Next, you will have to give consent to link Aadhaar with your phone number by pressing 1
After that, you need to provide your Aadhaar number and press 1 to confirm
This step generates the OTP, which you will receive on your mobile phone
Now, you need to enter your phone number
Here, you are asked to give consent to your operator to pick your name, photo and date of birth from UIDAI data base
The IVR now mentions the last four digits of your number to confirm that you have keyed in the right number
If the number is correct, you can enter the OTP you received on SMS
You must press 1 to complete the Aadhaar-mobile number re-verification process
If you hold another phone number, you can link that too by pressing 1 or 2 and according to following the steps provided by the IVR system. Keep your other mobile phone handy as you will receive the OTP on this number.
The OTP you receive for Aadhaar-mobile phone re-verification is valid for 30 minutes, so you can use it even there is some network glitch and the call terminates prematurely.

NOTE:- once you have submitted for reverification through IVR then you have to wait for at least 48 hours . In 48 hours you will receive SMS related either your request approved or not .

The IVR system says the last date to link the two is 31 March 2018. Subscribers who are on corporate plans do not need to need to undergo the re-verification process.

So far, Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone , Telenor have activated the service. Upon calling Jio, the IVR tried to direct us to a customer care executive, but both times the call was terminated without reaching an executive.

In late November, telecom operators had also been directed to set up a website so that subscribers can link Aadhaar and mobile number online. However, there is no such website so far. Going by the image in a tweet by the Digital India Twitter account, it seems users will be able to link the two using the mAadhaar app, which is available only for Android so far, as well in some time.

How to access Torrent Sites

https://getlatesthacks.blogspot.com/2017/12/how-to-accesstorrent-sites.html

First of all let me state that by means of this tutorial I am not encouraging Piracy or any other illegal acts which may cause loss to any corporation or company. ISPs need to understand the fact that Torrents are not illegal, Its just used for illegal purposes and that is what needs to be blocked instead of the whole Torrenting stream. Its the same as harmless Softwares can be used for spreading Malwares.. This doesn’t mean we will shut down manufacture of Softwares or Software companies.

You can use this tutorial to unblock extratorrent.com or any other torrent sites that your ISP might be blocking. Torrents are the easiest and safest (safest in the sense, Reduce corrupt downloads) to transfer huge downloads which may get corrupted while downloading on HTTP downloaders like Internet Download Manager or DownThemAll for many reasons like Connection Timeout,Power Fails,Internet issues etc.

It’s not illegal to use a VPN to access the blocked sites but the Village Roadshow co-chief executive Graham Burke doesn’t seem too concerned about that. He thinks most people wouldn’t want to fork out money for a VPN.
And he may be right. VPNs aren’t that expensive (some cost less than $US10 a month), but that’s still money you didn’t need to spend before.

Luckily, there are ways to bypass the ISP blocking of the  torrent sites for free.

If It Is Just Simple DNS-Level Blocking

ISPs can use DNS blocking, IP address blocking, URL blocking or any other technical method (so long as the rights holders are happy with it) to block access to the torrent websites. DNS-level blocks are extremely easy to bypass; you can do it in a pinch.
As far as we know, Telstra, which started using this method to restrict access to The Pirate Bay on December 20. Maybe the telco is deliberately using this method so that users can easily bypass it.
One of the easiest ways to bypass DNS-level blocking of a website is by using Google Public DNS. All you need to do is go into your network settings and change your DNS server address to the Google Public DNS address.

On Windows 10 PCs:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center. On the left hand panel, click Change adapter settings
  2. Right-Click on the connection type (could be Ethernet or Wi-Fi) of your choosing and go to Properties
  3. Scroll down the list of items to find Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Click on it once to select it and then click Properties.
  4. Near the bottom of the box is “Use the following DNS server addresses”. Select that option and type in 8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4
  5. Click OK and you’re done.

The process is very similar on Windows 7/8/8.1 and even Mac computers as well. You just locate the Network settings and change the DNS server address.
We don’t know what type of blocking method other ISPs will use but the following options should be enough to bypass a number of site-blocking techniques.

Use The Tor Network

ISPs are only required to block the torrent websites that host the .torrent files. These .torrent files contain the file metadata and tracker addresses that let your chosen torrenting software know the multiple sources it can get a particular file from, be it a movie, a TV show, a recent Linux distro or a piece of open-source software. When you torrent a file, it comes in dribs and drabs from users around the world who are seeding the file.
The key point here is the torrent websites themselves don’t host any actual content – they just host the .torrent files that tell you where you can get it. For this reason, you just need to bypass the site-blocking far enough to get to the .torrent files.
The Onion Router (Tor) can get you there. It’s a global network of servers that is generally used by people who want to browse the internet anonymously. When you use the Tor browser software, you’re moving your traffic across Tor servers which makes it hard to track your IP address, and more importantly, hard to block you.
The Tor network has a lot of similarities to BitTorrent but it can be a bit slow and isn’t suitable for file sharing. Good thing that web browsing is all we need to do here. Tor acts as the middle man who can fetch the .torrent file and covertly deliver it to you.
Tor can be a bit intimidating for people to get into. The good news is there an easy way to connect to the network using a software package called Tails. It works on Windows, Linux and Mac OS and lets you connect to Tor without going through any tricky browser configuration processes.
You can get Tails here.
It’s worth noting there was recently a critical security flaw that was found in Tor browser that has since been patched.

VPN Through Amazon Web Services (AWS)

For those who don’t mind a more technical option, you can always set up a VPN on AWS and tunnel the traffic to the torrent sites through it.
The AWS Free Tier lets you try out some services on the public cloud platform over a 12-month period for free. You’ll need to deploy the OpenVPN Amazon Machine Image (AMI) in EC2, which is free on the AWS Marketplace as a Community AMI. It can be a laborious process but here’s the full instructions from OpenVPN to help you through it: Click here. Make sure you choose to deploy it in a location outside Australia.
You’ll eventually end up with a working OpenVPN virtual server. From there you’ll need to get the OpenVPN client software, also free, onto your computer to connect to your very own VPN.
The AWS Free Tier has an outgoing traffic limit of 15GB per month but, again, we’re only interested in getting the .torrent files from the blocked websites, and they’re only a few kilobytes each. Just turn off the VPN once you start torrenting the actual file.
Just remember that the AWS service will continue to run even after the trial period has ended and will start charging you once the 12 months is up.

Off-The-Shelf VPN Service

Solution to IP Blocking using VPNs.

If you have been a reader of HackTabs then you might have come across many VPNs that we have discussed earlier. VPNs can also provide system wide IP Hiding and additionally Encrypt your Packet Transmissions (Even some Proxies do that).
Here are some VPNs:

  1. HotSpot Shield
  2. PureVPN
  3. VPNReactor
Onsite Script Blocking.

This method might not be used by ISP to block your access but since we are talking about Filtering, I couldn’t resist discussing this. These types of filters may be used by sites specific to certain demographics or certain systems only. And they might be using Javascript or other client side scripts to block your access. In this case you can use the following solution.

Solution to Script Blocking.

Its simple. Use NoScript Firefox Addon or NotScript Google Chrome Addon.
That was it for this Article on Blocking,Filtering and Bypassing..

Note: I am continually updating this list with all the new monetization methods that I use as an AdSense alternative. So bookmark this page and keep coming back to learn about more new blog monetization programs.

 1. MediaNet

Media.net is the best alternative to AdSense in terms of ad types.
Media.net is a contextual ad network by Yahoo! and Bing, and it offers high-paying ads. Moreover, the ad types involved are similar to AdSense, and if you have a quality blog, you are more likely to get Media.net approval in no time.
You can check out the review of Media.net here and create a free account here.

 2. Amazon  Affiliate Marketing

Seeing an Amazon advertisement program listed as an “AdSense alternative” might be little surprising for many, but in 2017 they are one of the most popular choices among bloggers for site monetization.
Until recently, it was only the Amazon Affiliate program, but with Amazon Native Shopping Ads & CPM based ads, they are a great choice for users who are looking for something other than AdSense.
In my opinion, the Amazon display program is ideal for those who have US & EU traffic. Native Ads in particular is a bit like affiliate marketing on steroids.

3. Infolinks

Infolinks is an in-text link ad network that has been a profitable blog monetization network for many publishers.
Infolinks offers various types of advertisements that you can place on your blog, but the most popular one is an in-text ad unit, followed closely by an in-frame ad unit.
It does not offer contextual ads like Google AdSense, but as an alternative to AdSense, Infolinks is highly recommended.
You can use other ad networks with it to increase your blog’s revenue.
Signing up for Infolinks is easy, and they have a low minimum payment threshold.

4. Adversal

Adversal offers features similar to Superlinks, but you need to have monthly page-views of 50,000 to apply.
Minimum payout is $20, and after 35 days, you get paid at the end of the month.
Payment modes are PayPal, wire transfer, and ACH. It takes 3-4 days to get your application approved.
I suggest that you apply for both Superlinks and Adversal. Superlinks ads will pay more, but it is also good to have another alternative option.
Apply for Adversal

5. Chitika

Chitika is a CPC product-oriented program.
I like Chitika for two reasons:

  1. It always places relevant ads based on your site’s content (which helps you to get more clicks).
  2. You can edit text color, URL color, and border color so your ads blend in with your blog’s format.

You can also use their referral program to earn extra income.
Create a free account on Chitika

6. VigLink

Viglink is perfect for a blog which is linking out to a business or e-commerce site.
The Viglink concept is quite different from all of the alternatives mentioned above because with Viglink you earn money by making affiliate sales.
Viglink works great when you have outgoing links to business or product pages such as a fashion store or Amazon.

Even if you don’t have outbound links but you are using money-related terms like Apple, iPhone, etc., Viglink will automatically add links to these words, and you will end up making pretty decent money.
What’s best about Viglink is that it’s incubated by Google and is a very SEO-friendly ad program.

7. Skimlinks

Skimlinks is the best alternative to Viglink and it works in a similar manner.  Skimlinks converts your outbound links into affiliate links, and you earn money whenever a sale occurs.
It is possible that you could end up making ten times your existing earnings with Viglink and Skimlinks, as they pay for affiliate sales and not for clicks.

These are just some of the best and most popular alternatives to AdSense.
If your AdSense account is disabled, the best way to cover the lost AdsSense earnings potential is by using a combination of two or more ad networks. (For example: using Infolinks or Viglink along with contextual ads.)
Which one of the above methods have you used and which ad program worked the best?  Tell us in the comments!

How to know if your password has been hacked

How to know if your password has been hacked

Unfortunately, piracy has become commonplace on the Internet. And one of the biggest blunders you can make if to think that it will only happen to others, that if you don’t do anything, you’ll never have a problem. Unfortunately, it’s not so simple. So how can you know if your account has been hacked?
No, it doesn’t only happen to others. It just takes a spot of bad luck, and suddenly, you’re one of the ones if wasn’t supposed to happen to. Everyone (or nearly everyone) is likely to get hacked at some point. Even big names on the Internet can be hacked, like Apple and Yahoo. But how can you know if you’ve been hacked? Let’s start with some basic elements:

Check if you’ve activated maximum security

If you’re unlucky, the service you use may have been hacked, and a thief would then have access to the service’s  database. Service managers may contact you to explain the situation, and if you’re on social media, you’ll find out pretty quickly anyway.
If the target is not a business/service, things depend a little more on yourself. Have you enabled all security settings? For example, some services use a 2-step verification system. The odds of being hacked with this feature are minimized, and even if this were to happen, you would be notified. For example, Google, Facebook and Dropbox will send you a message to let you know that someone has tried to access your account from a new device.

Some web services will notify you every time you log into your account from a new device. /

Check how safe your password is

Of course, not all websites offer a wide range of security options. You must therefore think long and hard on the main element for confidentiality: the password. If the service is hacked, the quality of your password will not really make a difference but if you are personally targeted, it makes sense to pick a safe password.
So how can you tell if your password is secure enough? You’ve probably heard left, right and center that a secure password must have a mix of numbers, letters and sometimes special characters. The problem is that machines that try to figure out your password are also aware of this, so by creating a mix of these characters, you’re not necessarily making the account impossible to hack, you’re only making it more difficult because they’ll have to test a greater number of combinations that include numbers and special characters. Bill Burr, the creator of the secured password standards, explained the problem. In short, he says to make sure you get creative with your password and make sure it’s not just a single word with characters at the start or end. If your password is “Password31”, you should probably consider making it a bit more complicated.

A password is a virtual key that opens the door to your account.

These two tips can give you an idea of the situation of your account’s security but they can’t tell you if you’ve been hacked. So how can you be sure?

    Look at the symptoms

In theory, your account may have been hacked without you even realizing it. In practice, it’s less obvious because if someone has bothered to get hold of your account details, they probably plan to do something with it. Either they’ll use your account directly, for example change your password, purchase things from your account or send spoof mail to your contacts, or they’ll use it indirectly to scrape other information they find in your account. Thus, they can use/sell your personal data, etc.

Check online if you have been hacked

If piracy is done on a large scale, you can check whether you were hacked or not. A security expert has created a list of all the victims after every known attack, and allows users to check if their account was hacked. The website is called Have I been pwned? You just have to type in your email address, and the website will tell you whether or not someone knows your password.
You can also type your password and the website tells you if it has been compromised. In both cases, the database is huge (over 300 million passwords) since it gathers hacked accounts from LinkedIn, VK, MySpace, Badoo, Dropbox and many more.
